The Great Crane Project
The Great Crane Project is a partnership between the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, RSPB and Pensthorpe Conservation Trust. The partnerships aim is to restore healthy populations of wild cranes throughout the UK, so that people can once again experience these beautiful birds.
The first phase of the site launched in late April 2010 and shares the story of the project as it unfolds with a mix of blogs and media. Phase 2 of the project will be online later in the year aiming to enable wider participation from site users with a range of interactive features.
